The bag has a classic design which is the primary reason I purchased it. However, upon unboxing it, the bag has a very strong chemical smell. The description says it's made to cowhide leather but the leather finish has a plastic feel. If real leather was used, I believe that it's a very low quality leather with a plastic coating to give it the appearance of a nicer leather so I'm not sure that the bag is going to wear well over time. Also, the fit and finish is lacking -- the bag closure is hard to line up properly and the two straps in the center look crooked when closed.
